About

A FSSAI Central License is a legal document issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) to food businesses that operate in more than one state in India. It is mandatory for all such food businesses to obtain a FSSAI Central License in order to operate legally. It is issued for a period of 1 to 5 years.

The process of obtaining a FSSAI Central license is similar to that of FSSAI State license, but it is issued by FSSAI head office and it require more stringent compliance to food safety standards.

  • List of Directors/Partners: The list of all the directors/partners of the company, with their PAN and Aadhaar details.


  • List of Key Personnel: The list of all the key personnel of the company, with their PAN and Aadhaar details.


  • Premises details: The details of the premises of the company, including the address, area, and layout of the factory and details of the water supply and drainage system.


  • Details of Equipment: The details of all the equipment used in the factory, including the make, model, and capacity of the equipment.


  • Affidavit: An affidavit sworn by the proprietor, partner or the director of the company as per the format provided by FSSAI.
